Where this is going

The version that launches is the smallest honest one. Here is what we believe, roughly where it goes after that, and what we have decided never to build into it.

Why we are building it

Almost everything worth knowing about training is already published, argued over and free to read. That is not what people are missing. What they are missing is someone applying it to them — this body, this schedule, this week — and then doing it again next week.

That part is judgment, and judgment is what a coach charges by the hour for. Most people will never buy it. So they end up with a video library, a friend's spreadsheet, or the same three exercises for two years.

Fitness Flow exists to put that judgment into an app and hand it to everyone — written as rules a coach can read and argue with, rather than hidden inside a model nobody can question. Everything below is in service of that.

Direction

What comes after launch

The first release is narrow on purpose. After it, the work goes into the same loop getting better: less friction between opening the app and having a plan, more use made of the record it already keeps, and fewer reasons to reach for your phone in the middle of a set.

We are not publishing a feature list or a date. Anything specific enough to be useful to you would also be a promise, and the worst time to make one is before the first version is in anyone's hands. What we will commit to is the list below — the things that stay out no matter how well it goes.

What we will not build

Some of these would grow the numbers. We would rather keep the product.

No social feed

Your training log is yours. No follower count, no leaderboard, nothing you have to opt out of to train quietly.

No coaching upsell

The plan is the product. There is no premium tier where a real person finally answers you, and no ceiling built in to sell you past.

No nutrition tracking

Weighing your food is a different job for a different app. We would do it badly, and doing it badly would cost you more than not doing it.

No selling your data

What you lift and what your heart does is health data. It is not sold, not brokered, and not used to target you with anything.

No ads, ever

Nothing in the app is a placement. If an exercise is in your plan, it is there because the programming put it there.

No gym or corporate edition

One audience, one product. Selling to businesses would quietly change who the app is built for, and you would feel it within a year.

This page is direction, not a commitment. Anything on it can be reordered or dropped, which is exactly why there are no dates on it.

Be there on day one

Fitness Flow is finishing up for iOS and Android. Confirm your email and we will tell you the day it lands. Nothing else after that.

Confirm your email and we'll write once more — the day it launches. No newsletter, no sharing your address with anyone.
